3/29/2008 - The Gaming Ghetto has relaunched at its new official location!


The Ghetto was originally launched on March 29, 2005. However it was 100% static html, and sat relatively untouched in an ISP user directory. The few people that saw some of the articles thought it was great, but we knew too little about web design to improve the site, track visitors, or generate a community. The site sat stagnant for 3 years without any work done on it.

During those three years, we watched sites like Angry Gamer and the Angry Video Game Nerd capture the spotlight in the new world of satirical and retro gaming. We were excited that others shared the same opinions about us in gaming, but we were still too busy to get the Ghetto up and running decently.

Well now it's almost 3 years to the date of the original launch, and the Ghetto still runs like crap. But it's good enough to roll with, and nobody will probably ever visit this site anyway. We in da house!
